Semester and Year Abroad

Application Procedures

A completed application packet consists of: The completed application forms appropriately signed and dated. A short essay describing the applicant’s reasons wishing to study abroad at the Florence School of Fine Arts. Applicants must also request the following materials to be forwarded directly to the Florence School. Letter of recommendation. May be academic and/or professional. Students currently enrolled in or graduated from post-secondary institutions must send official transcripts for all post-secondary institutions attended.

Summer Term

How to Apply

For those students who may not be able to study during the academic year the Florence School offers a 4 week summer term. Students may enroll in two courses for a total of six credits during the term. The month of June is a beautiful time to be in Florence. Students can enjoy the season taking part in extra activities, visiting museums, studying in a suggestive environment and immersed in a colorful and warm city.

It is the policy of the Florence School of Fine Art that no person shall be subject to discrimination because of age, race, creed, color, sexual orientation, handicap or national origin. Students must be a minimum of 18 years old to attend the Florence School of Fine Art.
